Kennel Merge · Last updated 30 September 2026

The short version. Kennel Merge works offline and saves your game on your device. Optional platform sign-in enables cloud backup. The Android edition also uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure app use. Cloud account deletion preserves your local game and store purchases.

This policy explains how Kennel Merge (“the Game”), published by DEVINSIDERCODE CORP (“we”, “us”), handles information in the mobile Game and on this website.

1. Your game and account information

InformationUse and storage
Local game progress Your board, next and reserved pieces, score, coin balance, discoveries, move allowance, game rules and turn history are saved on this device so you can continue playing offline.
Cloud account and sign-in information If platform sign-in succeeds, Firebase Authentication associates a cloud account identifier with Google Play Games on Android or Game Center on iOS. Provider identifiers and authentication credentials are processed to sign you in and protect access to your backup. On iOS, the sign-in request also sends your Game Center display name to Firebase.
Cloud backup When cloud backup is available, Cloud Firestore stores your game progress, local profile identifier, turn history, move usage, save and update times, and save/app versions under your cloud account. These records support backup and restoration of progress.
Purchase information Apple or Google processes purchases. The Game keeps a separate local record of the product, store, transaction identifier and verified ownership so unlimited moves can work offline. This entitlement record is not part of the cloud game backup. Unity's purchase integration and Android Analytics also process purchase events as described below.
Technical information Firebase and platform services process network and app/device information for authentication, service operation and abuse prevention. This can include IP addresses, operating system, device model and SDK versions. Android Analytics has additional collection described below.
Support correspondence If you contact us, we receive the email address, message and information you choose to send, such as your cloud account ID. We use these to answer your request and verify the account involved.

The Game does not ask for your postal address, contacts, photos or precise device location. It does not show advertisements. Payment-card details are handled by your app store.

2. Playing without a cloud account

You can decline Google Play Games or Game Center sign-in and continue locally. The current Game does not create an anonymous Firebase account as a fallback. Without a working cloud backup, do not rely on reinstalling the Game or changing devices to recover your local progress. Declining platform sign-in does not by itself disable the Android Analytics described below.

3. Analytics and SDK diagnostics

The Android edition includes Google Analytics for Firebase. Its automatic measurement includes app opens, first launches, sessions, engagement duration, app updates, device models and operating systems. This helps us understand usage and maintain the Game. See Google's description of automatic Analytics collection.

The Android SDK also uses an app-instance identifier and, when available, the Android Advertising ID. It derives approximate location from masked IP addresses and can record in-app purchase events, including product and price information. An advertising identifier can be processed even though the Game shows no ads. See Google's Android Analytics data disclosure.

The Analytics Google products & services data-sharing setting is enabled. It permits Google to use the Android Analytics information described above for its own analysis and to improve Google products and services, including advertising models and detection of invalid advertising traffic. Google acts as an independent controller for data shared and used under this setting. See Google's explanation of this shared data.

The current iOS build uses Firebase Core, Authentication and Firestore without Firebase Analytics. Firebase and Unity SDKs can still process technical service and diagnostic information; this is not a claim that iOS sends no data.

On both platforms, the Unity purchase integration sends purchase-flow events and product, transaction and receipt information to Unity. These events include device and app information and available installation or session identifiers; on iOS they include the device's vendor identifier. Purchase failures include the failure reason and details alongside those identifiers. This information supports purchase services, reporting and diagnostics. It is separate from the purchase record saved on your device. See Unity's purchase service privacy information.

Google Play Games Services also collects analytics and diagnostic information to maintain and improve its services. See Google's Play Games Services data disclosure.

4. Services that process information

We do not sell your personal information. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

5. Purchases

The optional unlimited moves purchase is a non-consumable upgrade. Purchase, restoration and refund processes depend on the store that sold it. Restoring a game backup does not transfer a purchase between Apple and Google. Use the same store account and Settings → Unlimited Moves → Restore Purchases when restoration is needed.

6. Retention and deletion

Local progress remains in the Game's device storage until removed or replaced. Cloud progress remains available for backup until it is replaced or deleted. To request deletion of your cloud profile and its backups, open Settings → Privacy & data → Delete Cloud Data, or follow the account deletion instructions.

The in-game action disables cloud backup on that device before requesting server deletion. It removes the account's cloud backup records and Firebase Authentication user when the server confirms completion. It does not erase the local game, reset the move allowance, remove local purchase ownership, delete your Apple/Google account, or erase purchase records held by a store.

That action does not delete Android Analytics or Unity purchase-service records. These services use identifiers separate from your cloud account ID. Contact us for an Analytics, purchase-service or other data request. Analytics retention depends on the service's configured retention controls. Provider security logs and backup systems can have separate retention periods; deletion is not a promise that every provider copy disappears immediately. For example, Firebase describes up to 180 days for removing deleted authentication information from its live and backup systems in its retention information.

7. Your choices and requests

You can play without cloud sign-in, request cloud account deletion, and contact us about access, correction, export or deletion of information. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to processing, restrict it or complain to a data protection authority.

Email support@devinsidercode.com. For cloud requests, include your platform and the Cloud Account ID shown under Settings → Privacy & data; use Copy to copy it. We may need information that verifies the request without exposing another player's data. A cloud account ID alone may not identify separate Analytics records.

8. Children

Kennel Merge is not directed to children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us so we can investigate and address the request.

9. Security and policy changes

Firebase encrypts information in transit. The Game's cloud-save access rules restrict reads and writes to the authenticated account that owns the save. No system can guarantee absolute security.

We publish updates to this policy on this page and change the date above.
