Delete your cloud account and data
Kennel Merge · DEVINSIDERCODE CORP · Updated 30 September 2026
You can request deletion of your Kennel Merge cloud account and backed-up game progress from the Game or by email.
Cloud deletion is permanent once completed. Your current game on this device, daily move allowance and store purchases remain unchanged. Cloud backup stays off on the device where you requested deletion. Deleting cloud data does not reset your board or grant extra moves.
From inside the Game
- Connect to the internet and open the current version of Kennel Merge.
- Open Settings → Privacy & data. You can copy your Cloud Account ID here for reference.
- Select Delete Cloud Data, read the confirmation and confirm the request.
- If asked, authenticate with the same Google Play Games or Game Center account.
- Wait for the status to confirm deletion. A pending request, lost connection or error does not mean deletion has finished.
When an online request starts, the Game first turns off cloud backup on this device, then deletes your cloud backup records and Firebase Authentication user. If the device is offline before the request starts, it reports that no cloud deletion was performed. If a later step fails, backup stays off and the status explains that deletion is not confirmed; some cloud data may already have been removed.
Use Retry Cloud Deletion when offered and confirm again. You can continue playing locally while a request is pending or after it fails. If the option is unavailable, no account is connected, or your request concerns a different device, use the email route below. Older versions may not include this menu.
By email
Send a request to support@devinsidercode.com with the subject “Delete my Kennel Merge account”, and include:
- The platform you used: Google Play Games on Android or Game Center on iOS.
- Your Cloud Account ID, if available. Find it in Settings → Privacy & data and press Copy.
- Whether you are requesting cloud account deletion or another kind of data deletion.
If you no longer have the app or account ID, tell us. We may need additional information to identify and verify the account. We will tell you if we cannot locate or verify it rather than delete another player's data. Do not send your password or payment-card details.
Requests are completed within 30 days. If identifying or verifying your account prevents completion, we will explain what is needed.
What cloud account deletion removes
- The Game's Firebase Authentication account and its platform sign-in association.
- Its cloud backup records, including saved board, score, coin balance, discoveries, move usage, local profile identifier, turn history, save times and app/save versions.
After server confirmation these records are no longer available through the Game's cloud account. Service-provider logs and backup systems follow their own deletion and retention processes, so we do not promise immediate removal from every provider system. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What remains separate
- The game stored on this device. Your board, record, discoveries and move allowance remain. Cloud deletion does not erase copies on your other devices. To remove local storage, use your device's app-data removal controls or uninstall the Game; operating-system backups have separate controls.
- Your purchases. Local purchase ownership remains, and Apple or Google retains its transaction records under its own policies. Cloud deletion does not cancel or refund a purchase. Restoration uses the original store account; it does not transfer an Apple purchase to Google or vice versa.
- Your platform account. Your Google Play Games or Apple/Game Center account is not deleted.
- Android Analytics and support correspondence. The in-game cloud deletion action does not erase these. Analytics uses a separate app-instance identifier. Mention these data in your email request so we can explain what can be located and the applicable deletion process.
Keep your other devices in mind. Disabling backup applies to the device where you made the request. Reinstalling or signing in on another device can create a new cloud account and upload that device's local progress. Contact us if you want help identifying other cloud accounts.
